 | Torres Selected ARL's Best Batter
Tuesday, September 14th, 2010: Kevin Torres of the AZL Rangers had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2010.
The 20-year-old catcher put up a .446 average and a .631 on-base percentage, piling up 41 hits, 8 doubles, no triples, 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and 29 runs scored.

 | ARL Presents Outstanding Pitcher Award
Monday, September 13th, 2010: The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2010 has been presented and the Arizona League winner is Joseph Wieland of AZL.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Wieland. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Rangers star told reporters.
Wieland excelled with an impressive 8-2 record in 12 starts. In 80 innings he yielded 53 hits and 25 walks, while striking out 111 and compiling a fine 2.25 ERA.
