 | Los Angeles-Detroit Deal: Russell for Hermida Wednesday, June 15th, 2011: Officials for Los Angeles confirmed that they have traded 24-year-old right fielder Kyle Russell to the Detroit Tigers. In return, the Dodgers will receive 27-year-old right fielder Jeremy Hermida. Currently Russell is hitting .250 and has collected 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and scored 7 times, while playing in 48 games. So far this season Hermida has put up a .284 batting average with 56 hits, 10 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
