Fedroff Belts Bunch of Base Hits
Friday, June 3rd, 2011: It seemed that Akron center fielder Tim Fedroff could do no wrong as the Aeros kayoed the SeaWolves 13-6 today as he rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Erie pitchers couldn't get him out as Fedroff seemed to know which pitches they were throwing.

"I think the Aeros were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Erie fan.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Fedroff in the postgame press interview.

T. Fedroff singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off B. Jensen in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.

This season Fedroff has delivered 45 hits in 201 at-bats for a .224 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .319 clip and his totals also include 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored. This year Fedroff has played in 52 games.
